Please refer to the Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful website Eco-Schools section for resources, advice and ideas on how teachers and schools can act in more environmentally friendly ways or to register as an Eco-School.

SSE Airtricity's Operation Energy includes a Teacher Zone whereby teachers are able to sign up and gain access to great lesson plans, games, activities and support to help your school on its Eco-Schools journey.

The Eco-Home programme extends the Eco-Schools message beyond the school gates and into the wider community. By getting parents and families involved in the programme it is a great way to help Eco-Schools to address the ‘Involving the Whole School and Wider Community’ step of the Eco-Schools Programme. Parents and children will be able to benefit from these resources as well as the information on the website when it comes to implementing the programme in the home.
